I fixed it by adding a few lines in my /etc/default/grub file! (not sure which exactly which one of the 3 fixed it) In the line (GRUB_CMDLINE_LINUX_DEFAULT=) I added to the quotes: iommu=soft processor.max_cstate=5 idle=nomwait If anyone can explain what they each do/which ones are necessary that would be great as well (if it also fixes it for other people)!
