Perhaps a better option would be to disable Xorg's acceleration for
Synaptics device only, rather than disabling the Synaptics acceleration.
When I disable Synaptics acceleration and use Xorg's acceleration, the
pointer is still extremely sensitive to small movements, and this makes
it hard to hit small buttons, links, and the like. Using the native
Synaptics acceleration with disabled Xorg acceleration (by executing
"xinput set-ptr-feedback "SynPS/2 Synaptics TouchPad" 0 0 1") the
touchpad feels the same as it would on a w!nd0ze system.
