I am trying to set a desktop background in gnome-flashback. The
background remains a kind of plum color and this error is displayed in
the terminal (if I run gnome-control-center from there):

I tried with .png and .jpg images.
This worked in 18.10.
In gnome DE and Ubuntu DE desktop backgrounds work fine. I can set any
of the images I tried as wallpapers.
