Hello Timo, or anyone else affected, Accepted xserver-xorg-video-amdgpu-hwe-18.04 into bionic-proposed. The package will build now and be available at https://launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/xserver-xorg-video-amdgpu- hwe-18.04/18.1.0-1~18.04.1 in a few hours, and then in the -proposed repository.
