I can use my Ubuntu 14.04.05 with kernel 4.4.0-112-generic normally, but when it comes to booting with 4.4.0-116-generic Nvidia drivers don't work. My gcc-4.8 version is "gcc (Ubuntu 4.8.5-2ubuntu1~14.04.1) 4.8.5" and gcc-5 version is "gcc-5 (Ubuntu 5.4.1-2ubuntu1~14.04) 5.4.1 20160904".
I tried reinstalling -116 kernel, but it didn't work and so didn't work rebuilding the drivers with "dkms remove"/"dkms install".
