Issue solved. I have really no clue to why. I switched to xubuntu, no change. I tried to switch off either monitor, no change. I checked all usb plugs, no change. I moved the mouse transmitter to another port, and then it all worked. I put it back into the old port, everything works. Lets see a few days, it may have been electrical contact.
