Public bug reported: After failing to boot, PC stayed in a limbo and couldn't start or close, for a quite a while, not even from the PC box'es close button. I had to switch off power and restart, but even this didn't work. Tried 3 or 4 times and abandoned. An effort made long time later to boot was miraculously successful. Running programe ClamTk didn't reveal any infection. I've updated software (Ubuntu 18.04.02 LTS) and rebooted successfully. Hopping it will not happen again. May be it was not a bug but hardware malfunction. I don't know. Thanks for your patience and understanding. Ambient temperature was normal during the malfunction (27 degrees Celsius).
