Public bug reported: Ever since updating nvidia driver to nvidia-381 the external HDMI connectors stopped working. Neither the native HDMI port nor HDMI over Thunderbolt works.
The driver recognizes the external monitor (existence and resolution) but does not provide a picture. Thunderbolt #1 never worked before but Thunderbolt #2 and the HDMI port worked in 16.10. The ports are fine (I can boot into MacOS and find all three combinations working).
