It seems the difference between my two test machines is that one one I had logged in to Unity 7 previously, and that left gnome-session-binary running. After a reboot to kill all systemd --user units, konsole now hangs on both test machines.
It looks like this problem is in konsole, which requires gnome-session to be running in order to function normally. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu-X, which is subscribed to xorg-server in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1675364 Title: [Regression] xmir applications fail to render To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/canonical-devices-system-image/+bug/1675364/+subscriptions _______________________________________________ Mailing list: https://launchpad.net/~ubuntu-x-swat Post to : ubuntu-x-swat@lists.launchpad.net Unsubscribe : https://launchpad.net/~ubuntu-x-swat More help : https://help.launchpad.net/ListHelp
