Public bug reported:

After my laptop goes from suspended state (sleep) I'm not able to adjust
screen brightness. It goes to maximum brightness and no longer adjusted
until laptop reboot. It's hard for my eyes to continue work. I don't
know is it xorg problem, or amdgpu but I will do my best to help you to
solve this issue.
