Public bug reported: Since upgrading to Ubuntu 16.04 the window borders (including all control elements such as resize etc.) sometimes disappear on seemingly random windows at seemingly random times.
I've included a screenshot of what that looks like. The solutions suggested for similar bugs with Unity don't seems to apply here since I'm not using Unity (see e.g. https://askubuntu.com/questions/759150/launcher-menubar-and-window- borders-disappeared-in-ubuntu-16-04#759735).
