I thought disabling Slight Hinting would solve it permanently, but then I had to change the "SubPixel thing" to something else for it to stop corrupting characters after screen lock/suspend. Then it happened again anyway! I'm out of workarounds and I got tired of Ubuntu's bugs. Not installed right now.
