After installing the newer Utopic stack and watching some videos in full
screen, the issue hasn't repeated. I believe it's been fixed.

The live disk I used was created a long time ago (hence the 14.05.1
version) which is the reason why newer updates hadn't been installed.
However, the updater never notified me that there were potential updates.
Should I expect necessary updates like this in the future?
