Same here with a radeon Mobility FireGL 9000 (RV250). Latest xorg-edgers and NEW_FAIR_SLEEPERS as suggested above did not help.
See https://bugs.freedesktop.org/show_bug.cgi?id=24074. The problem disappear when downgrading libgl1-mesa-dri to 7.5 or 7.4, so it really seems to be mesa related.
