Unfortunately on my notebook nx6325 I have only installed Ubuntu, I don't have a dual boot with Windows. Then I do not have to update the BIOS because the update program (.exe.) only runs on Windows.
By the way, this problem didn't exist in version 12.04.03 . It appeared after upgrade to the version 14.04.03. In 12.04.03 version I could see both monitors with the corresponding resolution (1360 x 768 (16: 9) for my AOC monitor and 1024 x 768 (4: 3) for the notebook monitor). Therefore, I think it should not be a problem for updating the BIOS. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu-X, which is subscribed to xorg in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1549841 Title: Change display settings to use two monitors on Ubuntu 14.04 with HP notebook nx6325 To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/xorg/+bug/1549841/+subscriptions _______________________________________________ Mailing list: https://launchpad.net/~ubuntu-x-swat Post to : ubuntu-x-swat@lists.launchpad.net Unsubscribe : https://launchpad.net/~ubuntu-x-swat More help : https://help.launchpad.net/ListHelp
