Thank you christopher for this reminder, i did not knw that BIOS had to be updated.
Unfortunately the BIOS update did not change anything. (Note: On the linked page the current BIOS is labeled 1.82, but the bootable ISO as well as its README (and the readme of the windows BIOS updater) announce 1.81, as does my updated BIOS. So Lenovo seems to have it got wrong.
