Same problems for weeks. Opening video files (vlan). Using Firefox. Opening or closing folders via SMB to an external NAS. And other activities which i do not remember, sorry. First i would get the login screen again after 10-120 seconds. Then the crash report would tell me that it was xorg.
It might not be the same bug then please ignore my ranting. But the last few days (since around xmas) the system would not do that anymore but simply freeze. Only hard reset helps even after waiting 15 minutes. I always install updates immediately. Using Lenovo X220 with 15.10. Will now try disabling SNA and see how it goes. Bad bug! Was in the middle of important work that actually pays my bills..... -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu-X, which is subscribed to xserver-xorg-video-intel in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1510970 Title: Intel driver crashes on Ubuntu 15.10 To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/xserver-xorg-video-intel/+bug/1510970/+subscriptions _______________________________________________ Mailing list: https://launchpad.net/~ubuntu-x-swat Post to : ubuntu-x-swat@lists.launchpad.net Unsubscribe : https://launchpad.net/~ubuntu-x-swat More help : https://help.launchpad.net/ListHelp
