Hi everyone. I have had this issue on my Lenovo Yoga with 15.10 . After trying different beta kernels from Ubuntu and getting the same crashes, I've installed the 4.2.5 mainline kernel and the problem went away. So I guess the error must have been introduced in one of Canonical's patches.
Also, using 4.2.5 mainline kernel (can be found here http://kernel.ubuntu.com/~kernel-ppa/mainline/v4.2.5-wily/) can be a good workaround. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu-X, which is subscribed to libdrm in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1511101 Title: [drm:intel_pipe_config_compare [i915]] *ERROR* mismatch in ips_enabled (expected 1, found 0) appears repeatedly during boot; Ubuntu boots normally to GNOME3 afterwards To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/libdrm/+bug/1511101/+subscriptions _______________________________________________ Mailing list: https://launchpad.net/~ubuntu-x-swat Post to : ubuntu-x-swat@lists.launchpad.net Unsubscribe : https://launchpad.net/~ubuntu-x-swat More help : https://help.launchpad.net/ListHelp
