i've installed edgers xserver-video-org-intel packages (karmic) and i've been running on/off after sleep mode for two days now, and i have not hit a freeze. i'm not ready to throw up my 'mission accomplished' banner just yet, but i've certainly haven't felt this good about my OS since i was running 8.04!
