Christopher M. Penalver, I have done a reinstall. kubuntu 15.04 worked fine.
I did the software updates and switched to the nvidia driver. Restart ok. I made some adaptions to the favorite menue. Then I used System Settings to fit Screen Locking and changed Virtual Desktops to three.
