Public bug reported: I am running Ubuntu 14.10 amd63 installed from minimal install with the xubuntu-core installed.
I am running fglrx driver version number 2:14.501.0ubuntu1 Although I have X11-xserver-utils installed, when I type xrandr into the terminal, I receive the following error: "RandR extenstion missing". I have a few other glitches in my system, all of which suggest using xrandr for troubleshooting.
