I would though like some information if possible: Why it took ~4 months to fix this in an LTS release? Was there anything needed from AMD's side and they were late providing it? or? I'm very curious, because I never thought this would be possible on a LTS release, and on an officially supported DELL machine (listed on Ubuntu's supported hardware page). I did not post anything until now, because it wouldn't have solved anything, but not that it's over, I think it's worth knowing what caused this unhumanly unreasonable delay :).
