Hello, i have also the T1005 and i recognized this issue too with different linux distributions. Now i want use this netbook with linux and this issue has to be fixed.
I did not find any solution that worked until now. xev reports repeating Press-Release events If i modify repeat rate the autorepeate rate of the characters is modified in case of a "software stuck key", but it is still stucked until an other key is pressed.
