After debugging a bit, the bug seems in gnome. The code successfully runs: g_settings_set (self->priv->lock_settings, "lock-delay", "u", delay); and in the shell I can indeed see: $ gsettings get org.gnome.desktop.screensaver lock-delay uint32 30
So maybe there's something wrong with gnome? Or maybe gnome can't lock the unity session? -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu-X, which is subscribed to xorg in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1448747 Title: Auto screen lock doesnt work To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/xorg/+bug/1448747/+subscriptions _______________________________________________ Mailing list: https://launchpad.net/~ubuntu-x-swat Post to : ubuntu-x-swat@lists.launchpad.net Unsubscribe : https://launchpad.net/~ubuntu-x-swat More help : https://help.launchpad.net/ListHelp
