Affects me too with an ASUS video card with AMD HD 7850. It started because I had a really poor frame rate on Steam game CS:GO. was trying to get latest driver from AMD (14.5) but it would never work (could not get GL to work with the driver installed, had no unity, GL failed to load) so backed out to open source driver, and then updated to the hardware enablement stack, and tried to install just the normal fglrx. no go. so now steam works, but I'm on the open drivers, and cannot really play CS:GO at all (frame rate unusable.)
