Please follow these steps and report the results: 1) Boot using the "nogpumanager" parameter from the GRUB menu (this will make sure that the xorg.conf is not overwritten) 2) Copy the attached to /etc/X11/xorg.conf 3) Log out and log back in 4) See if it solves the problem
