Hi. I just installed Ubuntu 14.04.2 in a new notebook. Ubuntu begun to
freeze constantly and randomly so I knew it were because graphic driver
issues.

trying to get private driver from additional drivers and selecting any
private driver I noticed my selection was reverted to default open
source driver so I tried to install from command line with bug report
results.

I've tried with all: sudo apt-get --fix-missing install, installing and
trying to fix broken dependences with synaptic and the results are the
same.  so this night I will try a fresh installation in my same notebook
and will check if the problem still persists.
