as i understand this askubuntu answer ( http://askubuntu.com/a/473649/18422 ) the underlying issue (https://bugs.freedesktop.org/show_bug.cgi?id=72795 ) is the same that prevents my thinkpad L540 from recognizing 2 monitors on the dock (i on dock and 1 on laptop-vga works though). i am on current updated utopic.
