Just found this solution for me so I can reset my finger on the touchpad sudo modprobe -r psmouse sudo modprobe psmouse proto=imps

So I create a config file in /etc/modprobe.d with the following; options psmouse proto=imps But after I restart, it reverts again. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu-X, which is subscribed to xserver-xorg-input-synaptics in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1026046 Title: Missing support for thumb resting on bottom of clickpad To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/xserver-xorg-input-synaptics/+bug/1026046/+subscriptions _______________________________________________ Mailing list: https://launchpad.net/~ubuntu-x-swat Post to : ubuntu-x-swat@lists.launchpad.net Unsubscribe : https://launchpad.net/~ubuntu-x-swat More help : https://help.launchpad.net/ListHelp
