Not really, https://bugs.freedesktop.org/show_bug.cgi?id=70764 tracks that this hang is more likely with TearFree (fundamentally the hang is still the same hardware issue, but it is interesting that TearFree has a higher chance of hitting it). If you want to experiment: http://cgit.freedesktop.org/~ickle/linux-2.6/log/?h=requests should have an interesting fix, at least for trying to prevent the TearFree leading to the semaphore hang. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu-X, which is subscribed to xserver-xorg-video-intel in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1041790 Title: [snb] GPU lockup IPEHR: 0x0b160001 IPEHR: 0x0b140001, workaround i915.semaphores=0 To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/xserver-xorg-video-intel/+bug/1041790/+subscriptions _______________________________________________ Mailing list: https://launchpad.net/~ubuntu-x-swat Post to : ubuntu-x-swat@lists.launchpad.net Unsubscribe : https://launchpad.net/~ubuntu-x-swat More help : https://help.launchpad.net/ListHelp
