Same issue on an Lenovo ThinkPad T510 (i7 with nvidia NVS 3100M with nvidia 331 drivers) running XFCE (Xubuntu). It seems as if light locker in combination with dbus causes the problem.
Thank you Kacper for the hint. I turned off 'lock on suspend' in the light locker settings. This is not what we want, but an exceptable work around. I wonder if they actually tested suspend/resume before releasing 14.04 if something like this happens? -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu-X, which is subscribed to xserver-xorg-video-ati in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1283938 Title: Ubuntu 14.04 blank screen after wakeup from sleep To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/xserver-xorg-video-ati/+bug/1283938/+subscriptions _______________________________________________ Mailing list: https://launchpad.net/~ubuntu-x-swat Post to : ubuntu-x-swat@lists.launchpad.net Unsubscribe : https://launchpad.net/~ubuntu-x-swat More help : https://help.launchpad.net/ListHelp
