As this is repeatable, can you please login from a second machine and attach gdb to the Xserver (you will need to install at least debug symbols for xserver-xorg-core and xserver-xorg-video-intel). Then trigger the crash and grab a backtrace. If you are able to recompile xf86-video-intel for yourself, this would be much easier to solve if it was configured with --enable-debug=full
