OK, so this bug is now a security issue, seeing as I just typed my system password in an IRC chat window. When this bug just happened to me, I dropped to TTY1, logged in, did sudo service lightdm restart, typed password again, and when I got back into my session, it turns out since I had quassel foregrounded it ALSO put my username and passwords there. THIS BUG NEEDS TO BE FIXED NOW!!!!!
