I am a moron so forgive me, but I do not think this is necessarily a duplicate. Bug 1235201 appears in part to be a matter of adding new modes/configurations to get a usable desktop. This bug appears to more accurately capture the new behavior I am seeing in Lubuntu 13.10: My monitor settings were changed during the upgrade to 1280 x 1024.. The new setting pushes the desktop leftwards off of the monitor screen. Shifting back to 1280 x 760 recenters the desktop in the monitor display, but I cannot get that setting to save, even running xrandr gui launched using sudo from the command line. This is not a stored configurations or missing configurations that have to be added issue, this is the setting chosen in xrandr is not permanent between boots. As I said, I am a moron, so forgive me if these are actually the same bug. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu-X, which is subscribed to xorg in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1232426 Title: Saicy beta Lubuntu does not save monitor configuration To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/xorg/+bug/1232426/+subscriptions _______________________________________________ Mailing list: https://launchpad.net/~ubuntu-x-swat Post to : ubuntu-x-swat@lists.launchpad.net Unsubscribe : https://launchpad.net/~ubuntu-x-swat More help : https://help.launchpad.net/ListHelp
