There is no switch in my BIOS to disable the discrete graphics card, so no, this is no option.
And with seeing the changes that are coming up in Kernel 1.12 and 1.13, where VGAswitcheroo is to be ignored I don't know if it's worth the trouble. But disabling the graphics-card with an upstart-job is good enough till above mentioned kernels are available. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu-X, which is subscribed to xserver-xorg-video-ati in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1062077 Title: [HP TouchSmart tm2-2010eg] Linux hangs with: "[drm:atom_op_jump] *ERROR* atombios stuck in loop for more than 5secs aborting" To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/linux/+bug/1062077/+subscriptions _______________________________________________ Mailing list: https://launchpad.net/~ubuntu-x-swat Post to : ubuntu-x-swat@lists.launchpad.net Unsubscribe : https://launchpad.net/~ubuntu-x-swat More help : https://help.launchpad.net/ListHelp
