This bug is not fixed! Now, in ubuntu 13.10, the faulty behaviour which "leaked" symbols from the English layout into the Hebrew (lyx) layout when English was listed first is no more. So now, Hebrew (lyx) has no numbers or symbols like !@#, and it is unusable.
I do not know if the fix suggested upstream was incorporated into ubuntu or not, but the bug is here. See attached screenshot of the faulty keyboard layout. ** Attachment added: "Hebrew (lyx) layout in ubuntu 13.10, missing numbers" https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/xkeyboard-config/+bug/1089804/+attachment/3784371/+files/%D7%A6%D7%99%D7%9C%D7%95%D7%9D%20%D7%9E%D7%A1%D7%9A%20%D7%9E%D6%BE2013-08-23%2017%3A44%3A16.png ** Changed in: xkeyboard-config (Ubuntu) Status: New => Confirmed -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu-X, which is subscribed to xkeyboard-config in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1089804 Title: The Hebrew lyx layout lack 1-8 numbers To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/xkeyboard-config/+bug/1089804/+subscriptions _______________________________________________ Mailing list: https://launchpad.net/~ubuntu-x-swat Post to : ubuntu-x-swat@lists.launchpad.net Unsubscribe : https://launchpad.net/~ubuntu-x-swat More help : https://help.launchpad.net/ListHelp
