and it failed (i'm on intel) the u-s-c log says "/usr/sbin/unity-system-compositor: Symbol `_ZTVN3mir26DefaultServerConfigurationE' has different size in shared object, consider re-linking *** Error in `/usr/sbin/unity-system-compositor': malloc(): memory corruption: 0x00000000023fe650 ***" and it fell back to standalone X (but not the first time) -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu-X, which is subscribed to xorg-server in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1208715 Title: XMir fails to start on intel To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/xorg-server/+bug/1208715/+subscriptions _______________________________________________ Mailing list: https://launchpad.net/~ubuntu-x-swat Post to : ubuntu-x-swat@lists.launchpad.net Unsubscribe : https://launchpad.net/~ubuntu-x-swat More help : https://help.launchpad.net/ListHelp
