I seem to be seeing a very similar issue on 12.04LTS after taking the latest update (everything was fine before that). I was getting graphical corruption, the apport-gpu-error-intel.py crash report, and the machine would hang.
I think this may be the same issue as reported on the forum http://askubuntu.com/questions/270968/linux-kernel-update-3-5-0-26 -causes-freezing-and-graphical-issues-ubuntu-12-10 I think that the update took my kernel to 3.2.0-39. I tried reverting to 3.2.0-38 and things are improved slightly in that I don't get a complete hang, however I still get the crash reports. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu-X, which is subscribed to xorg in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1124064 Title: continusly apport send me error crash event on apport-gpu-error- intel.py To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/xorg/+bug/1124064/+subscriptions _______________________________________________ Mailing list: https://launchpad.net/~ubuntu-x-swat Post to : [email protected] Unsubscribe : https://launchpad.net/~ubuntu-x-swat More help : https://help.launchpad.net/ListHelp
