Unfortunately still unable to make NX server work with kde in 12.04 :-( I have tired the libxrandr2 packages from Ringtale without success.
What would probably work is to find the correct spot for adding: -extension XFIXES to nx scripts since X2go works quite well. Has anyone been able to successfully add '-extension XFIXES' to nx scripts and in that case where and how?
