This is crashing in code added by patch autoconfig-fixup-tell-changed- so-randr-clients-can-t.patch, added in version 2:1.13.2-0ubuntu1, which improves hybrid graphics support. Maarten will follow up with you for additional testing; meantime downgrading to 2:1.13.1.901-0ubuntu2 would presumably stop the crashes, although your hybrid behavior may not be as good.
