Thank heavens and hells. Marc Deslauriers (mdeslaur) solution #62 worked perfectly here: My 1600x900 now displays as full-hd with: xrandr --output LVDS1 --panning 1920x1080 --scale 1.2x1.2
I use this to get the scaling right for real-world measurements vs screen-distances in a specific app. Thanks. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu-X, which is subscribed to xorg-server in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/883319 Title: xrandr --scale restricts area in which mouse moves To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/xorg-server/+bug/883319/+subscriptions _______________________________________________ Mailing list: https://launchpad.net/~ubuntu-x-swat Post to : ubuntu-x-swat@lists.launchpad.net Unsubscribe : https://launchpad.net/~ubuntu-x-swat More help : https://help.launchpad.net/ListHelp
