I wonder if this is a ubuntu problem or kernel problem or driver problem. If this bug is kernel or driver problem, then other linux distro also suffer the same problem. Does anybody know if other linux have the same problem?. We may just not hear it because there are not too many bug reports on other distros as there are less users compared to Ubuntu and Mint.
For those who move to Mint, I'd like to know if they still have the bug or not. Or they just move the bug report to Mint bugs reporting. But this bug and especially the lack of acknowledgment from upstair is getting ridiculous. I wonder what percentage of ubuntu/linux users actually experiencing this hard lock bug. Is it huge like more than 20% or small like 0.0002% users? This is such a crucial bug for me that I'm actually thinking about moving to other system. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu-X, which is subscribed to xserver-xorg-video-intel in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/993187 Title: ubuntu 12.04 completely freezes frequently.
