Hi All, Just for another data point, I've had this bug occur several times (at least I believe it's the same issue; in most cases the PC goes from running to just a black screen, and restarts itself) on Ubuntu 12.10, most recently with 3.5.0-18 and the 310.19proprietary NVidia drivers and KDE 4.9 (64-bit versions), though I've been running several days with 3.6.0-030600 without a problem and am about to upgrade to 3.6.9-030609 to give that a try.
When it happens, it seems to be pretty random. Very frustrating bug, although at least there do seem to be some kernels where it does not occur, or occurs very rarely. Next time it occurs, if it does, I'll take a closer look at the logs, though I hadn't noticed anything obvious on the previous occurrences.
