Public bug reported: Currently the arm specific drivers are loaded after modesettings in included at the Xorg driver's list, making it always the priority on arm, even if we have platform based devices that could match the installed drivers.
This wasn't an issue because modesettings wasn't included at xserver- xorg-video-all, which changed since latest xorg package upload. ** Affects: xorg-server (Ubuntu) Importance: High Assignee: Ricardo Salveti (rsalveti) Status: In Progress ** Changed in: xorg-server (Ubuntu) Status: New => In Progress ** Changed in: xorg-server (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided => High ** Changed in: xorg-server (Ubuntu) Assignee: (unassigned) => Ricardo Salveti (rsalveti) -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu-X, which is subscribed to xorg-server in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1041686 Title: modesetting's driver is always the default on arm now that it's part of the xserver-xorg-video-all package To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/xorg-server/+bug/1041686/+subscriptions _______________________________________________ Mailing list: https://launchpad.net/~ubuntu-x-swat Post to : ubuntu-x-swat@lists.launchpad.net Unsubscribe : https://launchpad.net/~ubuntu-x-swat More help : https://help.launchpad.net/ListHelp
