** Description changed: I worked in Nautilus, renamed a file, and then Nautilus window and whole desktop became unresponsive and grayed. I waited for two minutes and had to restart lightdm from the console. In the logs I've seen "[drm:drm_mode_getfb] *ERROR* invalid framebuffer id" line approximately when crash had occurred. I'm running Ubuntu 12.04 with all updates installed. + --- + ApportVersion: 2.0.1-0ubuntu11 + Architecture: amd64 + DistroCodename: precise + DistroRelease: Ubuntu 12.04 + DistroVariant: ubuntu + EcryptfsInUse: Yes + Package: xserver-xorg-video-intel 2:2.17.0-1ubuntu4 + PackageArchitecture: amd64 + ProcVersionSignature: Ubuntu 3.2.0-27.43-generic 3.2.21 + Tags: precise running-unity ubuntu + Uname: Linux 3.2.0-27-generic x86_64 + UnreportableReason: Please work this issue through technical support channels first. + UpgradeStatus: No upgrade log present (probably fresh install) + UserGroups: adm cdrom dip lpadmin plugdev sambashare sudo ** Attachment added: "Dependencies.txt" https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1034260/+attachment/3253914/+files/Dependencies.txt -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu-X, which is subscribed to xserver-xorg-video-intel in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1034260 Title: Desktop Freeze To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/xserver-xorg-video-intel/+bug/1034260/+subscriptions _______________________________________________ Mailing list: https://launchpad.net/~ubuntu-x-swat Post to : ubuntu-x-swat@lists.launchpad.net Unsubscribe : https://launchpad.net/~ubuntu-x-swat More help : https://help.launchpad.net/ListHelp
