Hey everyone, This bug affects me too. Everything stops working, the keyboard and mouse don't react at all. If there was a sound playing, it loops over the last fraction of seconds over and over again.
Here is my hardware configuration: http://www.ldlc.com/fiche/PB00130961.html I don't have any Nvidia hardware so I think this is not related to Nvidia. I am testing further, but it would seem that I am affected when I run Linux 3.2.0-27-generic but not when I run 3.2.0.23-lowlatency.
