Maybe it is nvidia only related or have it some relation witch Xorg too? I have a 32 bits Ubuntu 12.04 with 302.17 nvidia driver (x-swat ppa) and I give a freeze when I switch videomodes in nvidia-settings (or whathever application do that).
Who is doing bad the things? Who nobody that knows about it just give us an answer? So I will try the old nvidia driver, manually downloaded and installed. I don't know what more to try. Maybe some old XOrg too? -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu-X, which is subscribed to nvidia-graphics-drivers in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/973096 Title: Nvidia driver causes xorg crash To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/nvidia-graphics-drivers/+bug/973096/+subscriptions _______________________________________________ Mailing list: https://launchpad.net/~ubuntu-x-swat Post to : ubuntu-x-swat@lists.launchpad.net Unsubscribe : https://launchpad.net/~ubuntu-x-swat More help : https://help.launchpad.net/ListHelp
