It just happened again, out of a sudden the screen is black. The source menu of the monitor greys out the hdmi entry, then I unplug and replug the keyboard cable, the hdmi entry is available again. IIRC when it occurs then the mouse was moved a bit. I wonder why evdev configures the keyboard as mouse. The keyboard is connected via cable, the mouse wireless via an usb nano stick.
