It's been a while since this crash occured. Since then I've began using the nvidia drivers. I remember it working after the nvidia change so I've been willing to let this bug expire. Oddly enough though, I'm experiencing problems with GL xscreensaver modules. Any time that one starts up I see the following error message and the screen just remains blank until the next module is run (I'm using random modules):
couldn't create GL context for visual 0x21. I'll probably file a bug in the appropriate package for this later though.
