It is working with 4:3 Monitors but not 16:10 or 16:9. This were the
tests I did with an Nvidia 9500, 220, 440 and 560 TI:

Soniview 32' - Problem mentioned in this ticket about not saving 
resolution/refresh rate/etc.. This is a TV connected via HDMI
Gateway FPD1760 - Works with no errors. This is the one that is 1280x1024 4:3. 
Monitor connected via VGA
Samsung Syncmaster 794 - Works with no errors. This is another monitor with 
1280x1024 4:3. Monitor connected via VGA
Samsung Syncmaster 2243 - Problem as mentioned in this ticket. LCD connected 
via VGA
Samsung Syncmaster P2770ND - Same problem as in ticket. Connected via HDMI
AOC 912V-WA1 - Problem as in ticket. Connected via DVI.

As far as I can see the problem appears when using any cable that is not
VGA or using a monitor not 4:3, like a TV.
